Parking Lot Re-Striping

Parking lot restriping after faded pavement markings

Refresh faded markings before drivers start guessing where to park, turn, stop, or walk.

When Existing Lines Are Still Worth Following

If the current layout works, re-striping can follow the old markings after the lot is cleaned and checked. We still look for access aisle issues, faded fire lanes, crooked parking habits, and places where old paint is too faint to follow accurately without chalking.

Heat, UV exposure, spring storms, freeze-thaw weathering, turning movements, oil exposure, and sealcoating cycles all affect how long pavement markings remain visible. High-traffic storefront rows, loading zones, restaurant pickup lanes, and warehouse approaches may fade faster than low-use spaces.

Good candidates for re-striping

  • Lines visible enough to follow but too faded for drivers
  • Lots recently sealcoated, patched, or resurfaced
  • ADA stalls and access aisles losing contrast
  • Fire lanes that are no longer clear from a vehicle
  • Crosswalks, arrows, and stop bars worn by turning traffic
